Sustainability
Sustainability is open to various interpretations and perspectives, presenting us with a range of choices. At each stage of our process, we've carefully considered our options to make what we believe to be the best decisions. Throughout this journey, we aim to offer you insights based on the three well-known pillars of sustainability.
Environmental
We choose to work with 100% natural and certified materials. In the current collection this means 100% organic cotton and wool. Each item will always be made of 100% the same material and color. Even details such as labels are made of 100% cotton and the packaging and shipping labels are FSC certified. Additionally, all production processes take place in Italy, and we ship from Amsterdam to Europe. This ensures that we maintain an exceptionally low carbon footprint compared to other brands where a product typically passes through dozens of countries before reaching its destination.
Social
In the current collection we work with the following certificates: GOTS/RWS/FSC. This provides us with the assurance that all producers involved in the creation of our products are thoroughly examined and comply with the requirements of these standards. The key requirements include animal and social welfare protection, as well as the previously mentioned environmental management (land health preservation, minimal water and chemicals). Additionally, we consciously selected producers in Italy who ensure good working conditions and also give us the opportunity to be transparent with you both in text and visuals.
Economical
By producing in Italy, we can guarantee local and fair trade. Additionally, we stand for high-quality materials, timeless designs and therefore essentials for your wardrobe. These elements enhance the durability of clothing. We would love for you to rediscover appreciation for your clothing.
Our sustainability report 2024 will be presented to you this spring.
